1. Awards: Will
be given for the four largest pinfish (Lagodon Rhomobides),
the two largest Blue Fish and the two largest flounder.
2. Deadline for Entries:
The deadline for entry fees in the tournament shall be Saturday,
04 JUNE 2011 at 9:00am.
3. Entry Fees:
The entry for the tournament shall be $60 .00 per entry.
Early entries:
Received prior to 31 MAY 2010 will be $50.00 per person.
4. This tournament is Captains Choice. There are
no weather days. In the event of extreme weather conditions,
i.e., hurricane warnings, the Officers of the Sneads Ferry
Lions Club reserve the right to reschedule the tournament.
5. Fishing times:
Tournament fishing time begins at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday
- 04 JUNE 2011 and fish must be weighed in at the Sneads Ferry
Community on 126 Park Lane by 3:00 p.m. The scales will be
open from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
6. Fishing:
May be done on boats, piers, docks or banks. Permission must
be obtained from owners of individual docks, piers or land
by entrants. The Sneads Ferry Lions Club is not responsible
for fees incurred by entrants for fishing locations. Ramp
fees are also the responsibility of each entrant.
7. Limit: Only
three fish per entry may be weighed in. One in each category.
8. Minimum size:
Limit as prescribed by Marine Fisheries Regulations for inland/ocean
flounder and Blue Fish will apply.
9. All fish entries must be presented at scales
by registered participants and winners will be required to
sign a statement attesting that the fish was caught in inshore
waters within the timeframe of the tournament and by the registered
participant. If contested, participant would be subject to
Polygraph.
10. Awards:
Only one award per entrant will be given.
11. Age Limit:
There is no age limit.
12. Protest:
Any protest must be in writing and submitted to Tournament
Representatives within 1 hour of last fish weighed in on July
10, 2010 and must be accompanied by $100.00 cash deposit.
13. Manner of Catch:
All fish must be caught by hook & line.
14. All fish must be fit for human consumption.
All fish are subject to the scrutiny and inspection by the
Tournament Representatives, Weigh Master or Marine Fisheries
Officials.
15. Weighed fish become the property of Sneads Ferry
Lions Club.
16. In the event two or more fish are of the exact
same weight, the fish entered first shall be declared the
winner.
17. Safety:
All boats used during the tournament must adhere to USCC regulations
for their size.
18. Once officially registered, all entry fees are
non-refundable.
19. Any tournament official or tournament sponsor,
or awards donor entering the tournament in compliance with
the tournament rules is eligible for any and all prizes and
awards.
20. All tournament participants consent and authorize
the Tournament Committee to use and reproduce names, voices,
and/or photographs for the purpose of publicity and advertising
in any and all media forms.
21. The Tournament Committee shall determine the
solution to questions or situations that arise and its judgment
shall be final.
22. Release of small fish is encouraged.
23. The use of alcoholic beverages will not be allowed
during the Tournament. Violation of this rule will result
in disqualification.
24. Awards will be presented following the weigh-in.
All winners must be present in order to receive awards &
fish bowl prizes.
